Ethan and Ehlana:
Today has been one of those transition times between the short blast of cold and another warming that will continue into the weekend, but it wasn’t nice-enough to draw us outdoors to play instead of opting for another after-school visit to the lab. Our mid-week adventures didn’t end up totally mirroring our first two days of the week, but that’s entirely because Naomi and Aiden came over after dinner to spend the evening with us. That’s our top news of the day, since the group Magi lesson and music play time were our highlights of the day. Mom included a Christmassy theme to our Magi lesson, but don’t worry – we didn’t take videos of our flying elf and elf pets! ;^) Compared to our advanced lessons, that might seem too-simple, but even with talents like telekinesis; advanced training is necessary in addition to the simple need to practice basic talents on a regular basis.
Our music fun was all Christmas themed. We also needed to choose and practice a song for the Christmas Eve service at church; and we had fun with older favorites and learning a couple of new songs. Naomi and Aiden headed home at a bit after nine o’clock; we took Silkie for a bedtime walk while seeing our best friends home; and then we did a bedtime visit and snack with Mom and Dad in the office before coming upstairs to get ready for bed. We’re finished with the usual computing, and don’t really have anything newsworthy to add from home or elsewhere, so let’s add in the Christmas video picks; and then we’ll call it a night and get some sleep. Since we were playing with our elf pets tonight; let’s go with a couple of our favorite elf pets songs!
