Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 1st Birthday, Sierra Stone!
While Cassie and Michael didn’t get to celebrate their niece’s special day in person, they did a video chat with her and sent lots of gifts – including the gifts we delivered before school that included a family gift from all of us. We’re sure she’s had a happy day, but don’t have any details yet; so we’ll include any added news if needed with our next report.
Our personal top news of the day is the same as it was for quite a few people around here – the mid-seventies high temperature that didn’t get any unusual coverage in the news. We always find that funny compared to the crazy stories that go along with every weather event that is either unseasonable or extremely cold during the winter, but we also don’t complain about the bonus awesome weather either! ;^)
That’s also all you need to know for why we spent extra time outdoors and school and then biked the trails with our friends once set free for the day. All of that fresh air time was awesome; we also had an easy day at school with practices for the pageant tomorrow afternoon and more Christmassy crafts and movies; so our evening has been very quiet by comparison.
Yes, we’re glad to have Mom home – and happy that she had fun in Crystal Springs; so we enjoyed our dinner, chats, work in the office, and Magi lesson with her from the time we got home from the biking until we all headed upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time at a bit after nine. Since then, Ehlana and I got cleaned up; had a music practice; and now we’re winding down toward nap time with our usual bedtime computing, twin chat, and this update.
We want to get to sleep soon to be ready for all of the holiday fun that will kick up a notch or three starting tomorrow, so here are our Christmas video picks of the day; and we’ll wrap this up and move on to nap time.
