Happy 6th Birthday, Katie Taylor!
We didn’t have any involvement in Katie’s special day, but she is friends with Brianna and Faith; so we’ll mention it here because our cousins helped her to celebrate and attended an afternoon party.
We have a lot on the go today, so this will be a short update; and we’ll try for that longer report tomorrow night instead.
For the quick news of the day, we stayed up too-late last night; it was crazy-busy around here this morning to get all of the guests fed and off to church on time; and then we had a happy morning at church and Sunday school. Mom and Dad only had the two of us for lunch today, but then we’ve been playing with our cousins and friends at the Carringtons – cooking central for the parents helping out with pre-cooking for the holiday weekends. Video gaming and movies were the top entertainment options – mostly because it stayed cold pretty much all day. We had fun; came home a little while ago; and now we’re multi-tasking chores and getting ready for the teen-led Christmas show at the church before we head over to the Inn for the only buffet sitting of the day. We’re also packing overnight bags; and that’s the main reason for this early update. The approved plan for tonight is for a girls’ sleepover at the Carringtons and a guys’ sleepover with the Ayres. Mom and Dad get a kid-free night, but Dad has a lot of work to get done while we’re away; so they probably won’t have anything exciting to report – at least to us! ;^)
