Happy 22nd Birthday, Rebecca!
Happy 7th Birthday, Caleb Everett!
We’ve been busy since our last report. Decorating at the Inn for the birthday party began our adventures with a blast of balloons and streamers; that dinner was awesome; and then we loved hanging out together with our best friends for the rest of the night. The adults at the party last night had fun with roasting Naomi’s Dad and the rest of the birthday fun while we – the kids – mostly entertained ourselves for a few hours. Some of the parents went out to Sheldon’s after dinner, but Mom and Dad weren’t part of that group – mostly because Dad needed to get some work done instead. Mom did a Magi lesson with us after we got home; we followed that up with a blast of music play time that was all about Christmas music; and then we got ready for bed and wrapped up our day with a Christmas movie and cuddle time before getting around to the sleeping part of our co-ed sofa sleepover.
Tai Chi by the river was more-fun with our best friends; we had a hot breakfast; and then our school day was fairly awesome thanks to really great weather. The temperature climbed to around seventy this afternoon; and that had everything to do with why Caleb’s birthday party began with biking the trails and playing at the park instead of indoor games. We helped out with that play time; Naomi and Aiden were with us for that too; and we were all at the Everetts’ for the Pizzeria pizza birthday dinner – mostly to work and help out with younger-cousin kid control; and then we came home for the night by a bit after eight – without our best friends.
Another sleepover was tempting, since Zack and Eli are with Caleb and the rest of the guys spending the night with him, but while Faith is doing a sleepover with Brianna to be out of her house for the night; we decided to save up our next sleepover for the weekend.
Since getting home, we’ve done a bit of work; Mom had another Magi lesson with us; and then it was bath or Jacuzzi time for the two of us that needed to get cleaned up from all of our outdoor play time. We ended up missing out on game night at the Inn, but there just aren’t enough hours in some days, and even with the help of Mom’s time phases; we can’t do everything we want to do all of the time. It would be awesome if we could have game night in the blink of an eye or three, but that would be a bit tough to explain to the non-Magi gamers; so we probably just shouldn’t do that at all. ;^)
Finally, we didn’t really have any involvement in Rebecca’s special day, but we have heard that she’s had fun – even when working at the Pizzeria; and we probably don’t need any details for what the rest of her special day adventures might be between now and morning.
Okay, that’s enough for this update. We’re tired, and crashing into nap mode soon is an option now; so, until next time...
