Ethan:
It’s been a nice-weather day for December,
so while Tai Chi was indoors; we walked to church; the outdoor time was easy
for the extra shopping that was mostly for our favorite girls so that they
could get in on the sales we would have missed if the stores in town hadn’t
decided to keep it going for another day.
Add in some biking on the trails with our friends after that; some gift
wrapping; and a bunch of Christmas shows; and that pretty much covers my news
of the day. I’ll leave any additions and
the music picks to Ehlana; wrap this up; and take advantage of the extra sleep
we can get tonight thanks to a comparatively-early bedtime.

Ehlana:
The Christmas season at church is always
special for us at church and Sunday school, so we really had a good morning to
go along with the shopping and family and friends’ fun during the rest of the
day. I didn’t really buy much today
other than some Christmas dresses and a pair of dress shoes, but I’m really
going to love seeing Ethan’s reactions to the outfits that Naomi picked up
today too. The biking on the trails was
added in thanks to the warm weather this afternoon; and we’re amazed to be
doing that in December at all. We still
got chilled by the time we came home; so hot chocolate was part of our fun in
the lounge that included the gift wrapping and Christmas shows. There was only one movie after dinner that
Mom and Dad joined us for; and then it was bath or Jacuzzi time for some of us
while Dad finished up his work in the office for next week.
Darci Lynn’s Christmas special from last
year was one of our entertainment picks this afternoon; so my music picks are
some of those Christmas songs with her puppets.
