Ethan:
We’re having a best-friends’ sleepover
tonight ahead of our annual Kids’ Christmas shopping trip to the city tomorrow;
so this update is coming to you early so that we can get it out of the way and
move on to non-stop fun for the next day and change between now and our next
journal reports.
Our last day of school for the week has
been great, but it’s cooler out today; so our after-school fun is going to be
indoors. I’m doing this while Naomi and
Aiden are getting their overnight bags packed; and we’ll be playing video games
and watching Christmas shows for the rest of the day – except for dinner with
Mom and Dad. We’re not doing a family
and friends fun night this week because of the shopping trip tomorrow; and Mom
and Aunt Leanne even got their co-ordination of the trip finalized earlier
today too.
The shopping trip will be the big news for
most kids and teens around here, but I’m looking forward to our play time
tonight; and a sofa sleepover with Naomi might be an option – which was where
my thoughts are going with that comment about non-stop fun – even when we’re
sleeping! I’ll have to let you know
whether that works out for us too or not, but it’s time for me to move on
because Aiden’s on the way here now – and might meet up with Naomi along the
way; so Ehlana and I need to be ready for them – and our entertainment plans
for tonight.
Santa Paws movies may be part of that fun;
so our Christmas music pick for today is from our favorite of that series.

what will definitely be the best parts of our day – even for those of us who
won’t be trying to get away with a co-ed sofa sleepover! ;^)
