Ethan:
We shopped; did some chores; had lunch;
played outside for some of the afternoon; and now Ehlana and I are heading to
separate sleepovers at Naomi’s or Aiden’s while Mom and Dad get to hang out
with Cassie, Michael, and May while we’re busy; so they’ll manage to have fun
without us.
I’ll add anything newsworthy for the rest
of our day with the next report, but I’m leaving my computer at home; and Aiden
and I are going to have fun with his family – along with some gaming once his
parents turn in for the night.

Ehlana:
This first report after Christmas always
seems short to us without the music and a drop-off in the holiday fun level,
but we’ve still had an awesome day.
Cassie, Michael, and May were out with us for some of the play time this
afternoon – and the shopping this morning.
We don’t have company this weekend, but Mom is doing some extra work
today to help out with the Johnson clan Christmas weekend; and Michael is
helping his parents to get ready for the Stone family Christmas this weekend
too. That’ll cut down on the time we get
to spend with Cassie and Michael over the next few days, but we can share them;
and we certainly can’t complain about how much time we have gotten to have with
them so far since they got home.
Our sleepovers tonight are with our best
friends because we’ve had custody of them too-often, and while three of their
parents are still busy with work too; we’re fitting in the fun family time when
we can. For me, that means getting over
to Naomi’s house soon so that we can help her Dad cook dinner and have it ready
for when her Mom gets home from the salon; so I’m out of here – and will add
the rest of the story for today’s news with the next report.
