Ethan and Ehlana:
It is the last day of 2025 – and this is my final update as writer of our archives for this latest turn at the job! Ehlana will be taking her next turn starting tomorrow, so if you’re cheering that news whenever you’re reading this; don’t tell me! ;^)
It is only lunchtime today and we haven’t done much other than chores to get ready for the New Year’s Day party they’re hosting tomorrow. We’re finished with that work now; are about to grab a quick lunch with Mom, Cassie, and Michael; and then we’re heading to the Inn to help out with the set-up for the New Year’s Eve party there. Most of that work needed to wait until after the lunch rush, and we’ll need to work around afternoon customers, but we volunteered – just as we’ve volunteered to help with a live music set for Naomi and the Holiday Harmonies and to help with the next-gen kid control.
All of those adventures are still ahead, and we won’t be writing about them until the New Year, so stay tuned for that – in Ehlana’s own words instead of mine; and we’ll get back to enjoying the final hours of 2025 and what will hopefully be the start of an amazing 2026!
