Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and Aiden:
Happy 44th Birthday, Philip Seager!
Happy 3rd Birthday, Stacey Burroughs!
December began with a wintry blast of cold and snow, and while a couple of inches fell by late afternoon; the still-warm ground allowed most of the snow to melt. That didn’t keep us from enjoying a bit of snow play today; and that was the highlight of our school adventures. We were happy to be done with football and cheer squad practices – though we traded that for helping out at Naomi’s house with the dinner and party prep work for her father’s birthday celebration.
They had a large group of family and friends over for the meal and evening; we – the teens – worked a lot of the time we were there; and then we came home long before the party ended so that we could do our homework and a music practice while the adults continued the fun at the Seagers. Aaron and Sophia came over for the studying and music, but moved on while we have Naomi and Aiden here overnight so that Naomi’s parents get a kid-free night. Mom and Dad came home by around ten o’clock – mostly because Dad had a bit of work to do in the office. Mom did a group Magi lesson with us while he did that; and we’ve been on our own since they headed for their bed.
Now we’re listening to Christmas music videos; dealing with the usual computer checks; and enjoying some bonus school night co-ed cuddle and chat time. On the world news front, there really isn’t anything we need to write about tonight. All of the usual peace talk stories continue with no true progress; Venezuela is still in our President’s crosshairs despite the absurdity of the claims about the country being everything from a drug-hub to a haven for middle-east terrorists; and the national and international politics roll on with never-ending insanities. Cuddling with Naomi is more fun than continuing to write about any of those stories; so let’s wrap up with the first Christmas music video pick of the season!
One of our newest favorites is collaboration from two singers who have credits for some very-popular and well-known songs; and we really hope that this sentiment will be true for us every year for the rest of our lives! Enjoy the music; and we’ll move on to the rest of our cuddle and nap plans!
Kid at Christmas – Callum Scott and Christina Perri
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
