Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 3rd Anniversary, Caleb and Erica Palmer!
Family gifts were delivered for Michael’s cousin and her husband, but we haven’t had much involvement in their special day – though we will see them at the park tonight while the co-ed ball practices are going on; and we might get drafted for a bit of post-baseball babysitting.
As for our day-so-far, we’ve been busy with a chores day at a handful of homes and cottages; we worked with Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron as a crew; and we just finished up with Sophia’s yard – the last on our to-do list because we worked from east to west this week. Lawns are cut and trimmed; gardens are weeded; and we managed to get most of the other outdoor work done too – though we didn’t deal with jobs like washing windows or any major driveway or sidewalks work. We’re now split up to get clean again and ready for the rest of our day; and then we’ll be at Sophia’s house for another post-chores barbeque dinner. For the record, there is a dinner party happening for Caleb and Erica too, but that’s going to be a small event with some friends and siblings instead of a major event.
We also need to report that the rest of our story from yesterday included a lot of fun with the Pizzeria pizza picnic dinner; the baseball practices; and our co-ed camping night that included an outdoor movie that we had extra guest for – including some cousins and friends. Some of those teens and kids were camping elsewhere after the movie, and that worked for us; since the co-ed part of our plans last night might have been messed up with younger kids that might have needed teen support overnight.
That might not be an option tonight, since we are expecting extra campers in our back yard, but we’ll keep you posted on that; since we really aren’t officially set up with any next-gen kids to babysit; and only expect that to happen depending on how many younger parents go out for a while after the practices and to also celebrate with Caleb and Erica.
Okay, that’s all we have for now and we really need to meet up at Sophia’s house soon; so that’s all for now and we’re out of here and on to our next adventures with our family and friends.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
