Happy 37th Birthday, Aunt Deborah!
Happy 9th Birthday, Alex Byrd!
Happy 8th Anniversary, Michelle and Neil Ryan!
We don’t really have much news to offer from any of the celebrations going on here or elsewhere for our family and friends, but can mention that Aunt Deborah is having a birthday dinner while we’ll be busy with our baseball practices and the Pizzeria pizza dinner that we’ll be heading to soon; and she’ll be getting a kid-free night too. Our day-so-far hasn’t been party-rated fun, but we loved the morning play-work at the lab or archives after Tai Chi and breakfast with Mom and Dad; and then our afternoon adventures have included some canoeing, swimming, a bit of football play time at the park for Ethan, Aiden, and Aaron; and a quiet blast of cheer squad prep work that Sophia and I helped Naomi with for some of the time that the boys were at the park. We’ve also set up some tents for camping by the river tonight, but that isn’t a major event; and we’ll only have a handful of teens with us – unless the plan changes between now and the end of our ball practices.
That’s actually all we have for now and we need to get to the park soon anyway, so the rest of our adventures will need to be lived now before we can write about them sometime tomorrow!
