Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 24th Birthday, Tim Landry!
We delivered a gift to Tim and had a short visit with him and with Rowen, but it was a work day for them; so we didn’t get to help out much with their celebration. We’re back to sun and warmer weather again today too; so Mother Nature is co-operating with Tim’s special day – even though he’s also still stuck working for most of it anyway.
As for the rest of our adventures, we had fun with the pizza and baseball yesterday; Sophia and Aaron joined Naomi and Aiden for our co-ed movie and sofa sleepover in the lounge after the play time at the park; and we only stayed up a bit too late before enjoying the cuddle-and-nap time. We’ve had another football or cheer squad workout this morning; Ethan and I opted for another afternoon in the lab; and now we’re getting ready for yet another transition from play-work to dinner and the co-ed baseball evening. More babysitting is likely after that; and then we’re planning on another co-ed sofa sleepover.
Cassie and Michael are in Switzerland now and already wrapping up their evening there that has included a charity fundraiser; since they got right to work on arrival and will stay busy through until they start their long trip home on Saturday. Their work details are available elsewhere in the archives, but we’ll mention that in addition to local interests and financial projects aimed elsewhere in the world; Cassie and Michael are spending some time dealing with European immigrant issues that also include migration from Ukraine as well as from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Switzerland doesn’t have the most-serious challenges for that compared to other countries in Europe, but it is still a problem; and solutions that Cassie and Michael can help with will also affect other countries.
Compared to that, or little bits of work around here seem tiny, but we’ll still do what we can; and we won’t regret getting to also enjoy our childhood and teen years. We do need to get back to living our own adventures now; so that’s all for today and for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
