Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 9th Anniversary, Jake and Stephanie!
We got to drop off gifts for Jake and Stephanie this morning, but that was it for our involvement in their special day. Instead of any partying, we’ve spent the day getting our usual weekend chores out of the way – and it has taken all day to now to get that done. That’s partly because we’re also taking care of Cassie and Michael’s and Rowen and Tim’s yards while they’re away; so we had a total of six yards to get mowed and trimmed – along with all of the gardens, driveways, and sidewalks. Details would bore you; so all we need to add is that we did all of that work as a group of six and moved from yard-to-yard instead of splitting up. That made the work more-fun – especially when we took breaks to cool off in the river or demolish frozen snacks; so we’ve had a good day even with all of the hot and dirty work.
We’re now getting cleaned up ahead of the barbeque dinner that Mom and Dad are hosting for us – and for most of our collective parents too; so we don’t really have time for more – and the details for the rest of our day can wait; since Ethan and I are also going to be split up for the rest of the night after dinner because he’s keeping Naomi here for the night while I’ll be going home with Aiden and his family sometime after we enjoy that barbeque. Stay tuned for those stories; and we’ll get out of here and try to have some play-fun for the rest of our first day of August!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
