Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 13th Birthday, Joshua!
Having another friend join the teen club is another step along the way to us reaching that modest milestone, but it is also changing our relationships too – including the transition to co-ed parties. That’s what we’re getting ready for now and we’ll be picking up Naomi and Aiden along the way to Joshua’s party; so we need to move this along and then get out of here soon.
Our Friday evening was awesome, and while we still ended up going out for a short bike ride, we didn’t stay out for long; since a mid-forties temperature just isn’t that great after a handful of winter days with highs in the seventies! We – the girls – let the boys have fun with some video gaming before dinner and mostly helped Mom with making that meal; that had the advantage of getting to leave the clean-up to the boys too; so that worked out for us too! We enjoyed the meal; and then our evening entertainment included a long jam session that Mom and Dad heard all of and watched part of when they were ready to join us for that and a movie in the lounge. The action-comedy we watched was decent but not awesome, so we added in entertainment with our chat time and commentary. Mom and Dad went to bed after that, and the rest of us stayed up too-late with two more movies and a lot of quality co-ed cuddle time.
That worked for us, we followed that up with a bit of nap time; and then co-healing for the fatigue was an option ahead of Tai Chi and a hot breakfast for eight. We do not have anything exciting to report for our chores morning, and while Ethan and I teamed up with Naomi and Aiden to do that work at three homes. We split up for lunch with our own families – which was at the bakery for Aiden; didn’t get around to that until after-one; and then Ethan and I had a bit more work to do before Mom set us free to get ready for Joshua’s party.
We’re nearly-ready to head out, and that’s all we have for this report; so let’s wrap it up and we’ll cover the party and sleepovers details with our next update!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
