Happy 31st Birthday, Isabelle Jennings!
We didn’t have anything to do with one of our favorite teacher’s special day, but it is spring break; so we’ll hope that she has had an awesome day!
While we’ve missed out on that fun at home, our friends back there are probably saving up to tease us about the highs of the day being the same there as here today. That’s basically true, but let’s also add that it was also below-freezing at home overnight while it didn’t get that cold for us here. We did choose to spend our day at the Animal Kingdom and the Hollywood Studios. We didn’t stay together as one group all day, and some of us spent more time with the animals today, but we all had amazing adventures through the dinner break that we did get together for before Cassie and Michael went with just the teens and tweens in our group to the main park while the parents and ‘kids’ did their own thing until we all met up again at our hotel after the parks closed.
Let’s also add that we stayed together for a lot of yesterday; our first stop was Epcot from the hotel while avoiding the blast of afternoon rain; and then we spent last evening in the Magic Kingdom too. We had a challenging first night in our hotel rooms – though that was a bigger deal for the guys. We’re hoping for better tonight after another very long day, but we’ll let you know how that goes for us; since we’re really just getting started on taking turns getting ready for bed. We are going to have a little co-ed wind down time, but then we want to get a goodnight of sleep ahead of our last day at Disney World. There are so many details that we could include that we aren’t going to take time for now, but maybe we’ll just save all of those stories up and offer a longer report after we get home again.
