Ethan and Ehlana:
This is a quick and early update because we’re going to spend the rest of the day having fun with our friends – including keeping Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron with us for the night. It was barely above freezing this morning, but we still went with Tai Chi by the river and bundled up to make that possible. Mom went with a hot breakfast for all of us to warm up with; and then our academic adventures included one test and one music practice with one of the primary classes for us. While we’re thinking about that, Naomi is helping with that music too, but not with us; and Ehlana and I won’t be working together for every class either; since piano and guitar aren’t needed for every song. Naomi and the Holiday Harmonies will be playing one song for the concert too, but we’ll pick that song from the album; so it won’t be any extra work for us. We might start working on our song picks for the school Christmas dance this weekend, but we’ll keep you posted on that.
We’re only on our own right now because we’ve split up with our friends so that they can grab overnight bags and their bikes before meeting up with us here. The high today is only in the fifties, but we’ll be biking for a while before dinner; and will probably be doing that with at least half of our usual gang of friends. Other than some music play time and movies, we don’t have any major plans for tonight. Mom and Dad haven’t set up a family-and-friends’ dinner or anything else – mostly because everyone is in need of some breaks after Halloween and before we get into the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. We’re okay with that – especially after the babysitting last weekend; since that also means that we didn’t get recruited for any babysitting! There might be quite a bit of that work in our future; so we’ll take the play nights when we can get them.
