Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Jake, Stephanie, and the Stone and Wingborough families – it’s a boy!
Okay, that isn’t actually all news, since we did know that Stuart Stone was a boy before his birth today. The rest of the details will wait for our next report, though, since we don’t officially have the details yet; and it will be the big news story for tomorrow!
Backing up and starting from our last update, mowing the lawn ended up being lawns by the time we were finished yesterday. We had lots of help for that work, and got four lawns cut in record time; so the parents were happy to reward us with the pot-luck barbeque dinner, Olde Bakery desserts, and ice cream treats. Evening canoe rides, park play time, and the campfire were all really great too; and our quartet music entertainment moments with Naomi and Aiden were highlights for us too. Both the campfire and our camping adventure were bigger than expected. That was both awesome and challenging – especially later last night when it came time to wind down and get some sleep and then this morning when we needed to get all of the kids and teens fed and the camp gear packed up when weather time limits were also an issue.
The rain did arrive this morning, but not to the level we originally forecast. That’s why we were able to do more outdoor work with Mom and Dad after our cousins and friends moved on. We did the outdoor work until the more-steady rain began early this afternoon; there were indoor chores to do after that; and then Ehlana and I went to the lab or archives for a couple of hours until dinnertime. That meal was with Mom and Dad; we’ve had a quiet work evening in the office that included some time phasing so that Dad could get extra work done; and then it was bath or Jacuzzi time. It isn’t ridiculously-late as we’re writing this update, but we didn’t get a lot of sleep last night; so we’re ready to crash-and-nap now anyway; so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
