Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 8th Birthday, Julian Green!
Brandon’s special day gets mentioned for his friendship connection to some of our cousins. Other than wishing him a happy day; we didn’t have any involvement in his birthday celebrations.
Our day began with Tai Chi in Grandma and Grandpa’s back yard; breakfast was fun in-part thanks to a video chat with Cassie and Michael; and then our school day was fairly-quiet; rain kept us indoors; and that’s why we went to play at the lab after school too. We did a quick visit with Mom between school and the lab or archives work, since she got home in time to have lunch with Aunt Leanne and Claire; and then we did the longer story time with dinner once we got back from the lab. Let’s not comment on why Mom might be tired tonight, since we definitely weren’t told any stories that might explain that at all; and just report that we are all having an early night. Ehlana and I took care of the dinner clean-up, Mom did a short Magi lesson with us; and then bath or Jacuzzi time followed that lesson.
Ehlana and I have been having a longer twin chat while doing some random internet surfing. The news checks part of our surfing didn’t include any happy news, so while we’re overdue for another ‘bigger picture’ update; we don’t really want to go there tonight while continuing to hope that we eventually get to have a news day where our world leaders collectively come to their senses and begin to care about all people. That definitely didn’t happen today; so let’s move on.
The news from Cassie and Michael was all about the wind-down toward final exams – or maybe that should be the wind-up; since they seem to be getting busier every day right now. That isn’t leaving them a lot of time for playing; though they do still try to have some fun breaks with their friends a couple of times a week. All of our favorite collegians are having these same study and workload issues, but we don’t personally get those stories directly. The countdown to having them home for a while – or the summer – feels closer every day; so that’s something that we are really looking forward to as we are also counting down to the next holiday weekend and summer vacation.
That’s looking a bit further ahead than we need to do tonight, and it’s time to wrap this up and call it a night; so we will!
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
