Ethan and Ehlana:
Good Friday.
When you’re a tween, is there really anything to offer for this holiday? We commemorated the crucifixion at church; the kid-appropriate stories are still a stark statement about the worst that people can be; and recent history suggests that we haven’t collectively learned very much over the past two millennium.
Mother Nature didn’t offer up a rain day or morning; so we’ve had a decent weather day with a high in the mid-sixties. That’s worked so far for having a happy day with our family and friends, but it always feels weird to offer that kind of commentary on a solemn holiday.
That’s why we’re going to skip the rest of the story for today-so-far; we’ll shoot for a double update tomorrow night; and just get back to our holiday weekend adventures that will include a cousins-and-friends’ play evening and sleepover at our house that we’re currently getting the lounge and some bedrooms ready for now. We’ll keep you posted on all of the highlights whenever we get to that; so stay tuned to read all about the awesome details!
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
