Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve had a long, busy day and need to get some sleep soon; so let’s keep this update short.
Early morning temperatures in the low-forties are a bit of a shock to the system, but we’ll continue to exercise by the river and enjoy it whenever we can – even if we need to dress warmly to do that. Mom opted for a hot breakfast because of the cool workout, so that was great for us; and then we had a pretty good day at school too that included bonus outdoor time in the afternoon as it warmed up and the sunny day seemed more-inviting than staying in our classrooms – even to the teachers! ;^)
We were back in the lab or archives to play-work after school; got home in time for dinner and the clean-up that wrapped up in time to get to the Inn for game night. Mom and Miranda did not surprise anyone with their first senior team victory of this game night season, but Naomi and I got some bonus attention for successfully defending our junior title again. Naomi likes to win nearly as much as Aunt Leanne, Miranda, and some of our other favorite people, but we’ll need to be careful even with game night not to draw unwanted attention that would get picked up by the Hathornes as they scoop up pretty much all of the public information from our little town.
That’s too-serious a topic for tonight, and this report is already longer than we planned; so let’s wrap it up. After the big wins, we came home; Mom did a Magi lesson with us; and we’ve had a bit of music play time to go along with our usual bedtime computing and twin-chat. We could be in for another busy weekend – though not because of any surprise trips, and we want to be rested and ready for the fun, so that’s all for tonight; and, until next time...
