Ehlana and Ethan:
Our top news today is that church services and Sunday school are returning to semi-normal starting this morning. There are still restrictions – like wearing masks and the rest of the usual social restrictions, and anyone at risk or ill won’t be there, but it is the next step toward normal; and it was nice to share the adventure with most of our neighbors and friends again!
Dad is in the city next week, so he’s been working in the office for most of the day since we got home from church; we had some afternoon play time at the lab and archives while he was busy; followed that up with a quick dinner; and then wrapped up our day with a normal study night and music practice before getting around to bath or Jacuzzi time. We just finished up with that, and since we both need to get up early and will have a school day tomorrow; that’s pretty much all we have for tonight before we move on and get some sleep.
Cassie and Michael are busy with their classes and assignments; and we’ll leave the rest of their daily stories to them to write about and for you to check out in their journals. The global pandemic news seems to be taking a break by comparison, but while there are glimmers of good news, total new cases are still likely on the rise; and we reached twenty-nine million total cases for the latest milestone today. We’ll save a deeper look into the pandemic for another night; since we really do need to get to sleep if we want to wake up in time to see Dad out for his trip to Crystal Springs.
