Ehlana and Ethan:
The anniversary of 9/11 is still a news story here in our little town, but it was different today having that fall on a home-school day for us; and won’t likely be the same anymore for us except for on the ‘milestone’ anniversaries - possibly including the twentieth next year. There was not an assembly at school either, but there was a video message or mini-lesson the all students watched either at home or in-class.
Our family news of the day isn’t a surprise for us; since we already predicted that Aunt Leanne would have Violet and Dillon talked into their perfect house by the weekend – and they are all very happy with the choice. Our cousins will be moving into that new house the first week of November – possibly only a week or two after Jake and Stephanie will be moving once the remodel is done on the Stone family home.
As for our adventures today, we had another fun day of home schooling with our best friends and cousins; rain had us going to the lab for our after-school play time; and we’ll soon be doing a movie night and sleepover with Naomi and Aiden that is going to include a pizzeria pizza dinner. We’re not technically going to be watching movies – we’ll be binge-watching the new Netflix series, Julie and the Phantoms; which shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone who knows how much we love music.
Maybe Netflix would be interested in an original series starring a quartet of junior Magi musicians! ;^)
We’ll cover that part of our story for today with the next update, but we’re just waiting for Naomi and Aiden to catch up with us after checking in with parents and packing overnight bags; so we need to get going now and on with the rest of our family-and-friends entertainment that will include some aunts, uncles, and cousins for dinner and some of the show-watching.
