Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - February 10, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

It still hasn’t been warm-enough first thing in the morning for taking Tai Chi outdoors, but the high for this afternoon still reached the mid-fifties today; so we played with our friends again after school.  Future readers might get bored with daily news about going biking with our friends, but unless the weather is very different around here in your now; spring-like play time in early February is amazing for us – even if nobody thinks that our daily lives are interesting or exciting at all.

Our school day was good, but not newsworthy; the afternoon fun with our friends was great; and then we went out to play with our family and neighbors at the Inn after dinner.  Game night highlights included the Valentine’s Day theme, and Ehlana wants me to put the news that Naomi and I won the junior title this week; since most of the teams tonight were paired into couples.  That, by the way, wasn’t always entirely voluntary, but most of the ‘matched’ teams managed to have fun anyway – even if that could also be weird for the guys and girls involved.  That included some of our friends; and that is definitely feeling different for them now that we’re getting into the tween years.

Ehlana doesn’t want me to exclude why Naomi and I did so well tonight, but she and Aiden did nearly as well with the games that were all about how well each couple knows each other; and nobody should be surprised about how much the four of us know about each other – not to mention the bonus of our special memory talents.

We can’t report that our families won the senior title too; and everyone had fun with seeing Miranda get a rare win with Jacob on her team.  We won’t comment on whether they had any help with nudges in scores that helped them along to that victory! ;^)

Moving along, we came home after the gaming; Mom did a Magi lesson with us; and we didn’t add in any extra work in the office because we were getting tired by then.  Ehlana and I have still done our usual bedtime computing and twin chat, but that’s all we have for tonight, and we’re ready to move on to nap time; so we’re going to do that now.

Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
