Ehlana and Ethan:
Winter is definitely here! We still haven’t had a lot of snow, but the temperature dropped to lows of the season so far. Tai Chi was indoors – and separate for us with Aiden and Naomi respectively. We drove to and from church – with the Drapers or Seagers for the ride there; and with Mom and Dad when we came home again. We stayed indoors for most of the day; and it was too-cold for us to be interested in any outdoor play time. That included the tail-end of our sleepovers this morning; while at the church; the rest of the morning and lunchtime at home; and then we were at the lab for the afternoon. We’ve stayed in and at home since getting back in time for dinner; watched a movie with Mom and Dad; and came upstairs early for bath or Jacuzzi time.
That’s all we have for the news from today. Ethan and Aiden had fun last night, but Naomi and I can’t say the same; since Zack and Eli were at their worst last night; and had us wishing that we’d made other plans for our sleepovers last night. Let’s just leave that without added commentary; and we’ll hope that our most-annoying cousin and his best friend will grow out of this phase sooner instead of later.
We’re going to wrap this up now instead of writing more about news from around the world. That isn’t because we’re too-tired, but just that we’ve had a good day; and don’t want to end it with commentary on all of the bad that continues with no end in sight.
Tomorrow is a home school day, but we also want to be ready for Cassie’s special day – even if we won’t get to be with her in-person or even spend much digital time with her either while she’s busy with her classes; so we’re going to head for bed now; and take advantage of the chance for extra sleep.
