Ehlana and Ethan:
Our second co-ed sofa sleepover in a row – and everything else we did last night – was awesome. There isn’t really anything to write about from our evening of fun, but we enjoyed the music play time; the movies; and the c0-ed cuddling! We had a good start to our morning with Tai Chi and a hot breakfast; followed that up with chores – here for us; and at their own homes for Naomi and Aiden. The cold-wave continues, so we haven’t wanted to be outdoors, and we’ll use a pet note for our ‘how cold was it?’ point because Silkie didn’t even want to be outside this morning. She didn’t opt for indoor accidents instead, but may have set records for her backyard bathroom breaks!
The cold has changed our plans for this afternoon – which is why we’re doing this update so early. We’re packing overnight bags now; and will be heading over to Naomi’s house soon. The parents have Valentine dinner at the Inn and a party at Sheldon’s to attend tonight, but while the sleepover at Naomi’s was already booked; getting that fun started early is entirely because it is too-cold to want to be playing outdoors this afternoon.
We’ll have the rest of that news with our next update – without any report about Mom and Dad’s kid-free night. This will be another babysitter-free night for us too; though we’ll still have next-door support available if needed; and the Carrington’s are again hosting the family babysitting services while the parents are out. We may have dinner there, but possibly not if Zack and Eli are at their worst today. That’s definitely possible; since they have a different perspective on Valentine’s Day; and pranks are near-certain.
Let’s leave that news for the next update too. We’re nearly ready to go over to Naomi’s, and the sooner we get there; the quicker we can get started on another blast of fun with our best friends.
