Congratulations, Mitch and Lynn Bassett – it’s a boy!
Jonathan Bassett was born this morning at the clinic; and we got that news shortly-before we headed for school. The Bassett and Jennings families are very happy with the newest addition to their families; mother and son are already home tonight; and we have a new junior Magi in our little club too!
Compared to new babies, our day has been quiet. We had a good day at school; had a band practice with Naomi and Aiden after that; and then we’ve had a quiet evening at home with Mom and Dad while our best friends are busy with their own families. Yes, that’s shocking, but Naomi and Aiden actually do have lives beyond being our best friends! ;^)
We watched a movie tonight with Mom and Dad in the living room; opted for bath or Jacuzzi time after that; and we’ve been listening to music and having our twin bedtime chat since then. That’s pretty much all we have for today, but before we’ll wrap this up; we want to mention that we’re finally heading into a deep-cold for the next week or so. We’ve really been lucky so far this winter, so we won’t complain about the cold, but we are also likely going to be spending more time indoors – especially if we don’t get much snow for playing in to go along with the cold.
We’ll let you know how that goes for us in the coming days; call it a night now; and go get some sleep soon.
