Ehlana and Ethan:
Our day began as normal with Tai Chi and breakfast-for-four with Mom and Dad; we had fun at church and Sunday school; and then we split up so that Ethan could go on his date with Naomi!
Okay, they weren’t on a date, but he did spend a lot of the rest of the day with her and they were busy with her family from lunchtime through to after-dinner. Judging by the smile on his face right now as we’re doing this update; Ethan had a happy day; so I’ll give him the win on the better day.
While he was playing with my best friend, I had lunch with Mom and Dad; went to play at the lab for the afternoon; and then Mom and Dad decided to take me to the Inn for dinner. We had a quiet hour or so back here at home after that before Ethan got home too; moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time soon after that; and will be having an early bedtime because we’re all tired and ready to get the extra sleep tonight. That’s all we have for this report for here at home, but we should mention that Cassie and Michael are doing well – if a lot too-busy. Mom keeps in more contact with Cassie than we do, but even our video chats are usually short; and we’re all wishing that we could spend more time together. Maybe we’ll get to do that over our March breaks, but we’ll see how that goes; since Cassie and Michael are also getting pulled in a lot of directions – especially with his new niece. Missing out on her first months is tough on them too, but those personal costs are just something we’ll all have to deal with now – and for a lot of the next decade or two through to beyond when we take our turns at college.
That’s looking a bit further ahead than we want to do tonight, and we’re ready for that extra sleep now anyway; so we are going to move on and do that soon.
