Ethan and Ehlana:
We are tired; so this is going to be a short update. Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom and Dad were good; our academic adventures were fun with bonus outdoor time thanks to the sunny, warm weather; and that worked for our football and cheer squad practices too. Naomi hosted our dinner and study session; and then we headed to the Inn for game night. That was the entertainment highlight of our day, but we don’t have any championships to report this week for our families. After coming home with Mom and Dad, we only did a short visit and daily recap with them; and Mom didn’t let us do any work or a Magi lesson because we need the sleep more ahead of our last school day of the week and the first-round football game. That works for us and we are tired; so let’s wrap this up.
Cassie and Michael will be ‘behind’ us in time for the rest of their trip, but they’ve finished their work for the day and are taking the evening off to enjoy some play time in paradise. They are getting a lot done. We want to mention that a lot of the work on this trip is different and directed at more than the local people. The Cook Islands only has a population of around fifteen thousand people, so while we want to help them; the goals for most of these projects are about research and environmental conservancy to protect the islands and ocean. We’d love to be able to do that on large scale and globally, but don’t have that kind of money; so we’re starting small and will hope that others will take our ideas and run with them!
We really do want to get the extra sleep; so that’s all for this report. The world news happens whether we write about it or not; so let’s stay happier and not go there tonight! Stay tuned, since football playoffs fever hits tomorrow; and we’re hoping that will continue through to the championship game on the holiday weekend; and we’ll move on now and rest up for all of the fun.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
