Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 15, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 3rd Birthday, Georgia McEwan!

Our top story since the last report is that we won our second-round game against Grand Summit.  They played well too, but we were better; and the final score was forty-eight to twenty-seven.  Ehlana insists that I mention that four of our six touchdowns were mine while Aiden and Aaron had the other two that went along with two field goals.  Yes, I had a good night; and I’ll credit Naomi with all of my motivation!  I am so glad that she chose me; since she is amazing; and gets a lot of attention from all of the boys around our ages.  Moving along, we had a lot of family support last night; they had fun too; and then we eventually moved on to a Pizzeria pizza celebration that we stayed at for about an hour before Ehlana and I brought our four best friends home with us for a co-ed sleepover.

If you’re expecting an entertaining story about the rest of our Friday night, maybe you’ll find that in one of the journals for Sophia or Aaron, but we can’t do that because I fell asleep a half-hour into the movie we put on once set up for that co-ed cuddle time; and that was it for me for the rest of the night.  Naomi, Ehlana, and Aiden lasted longer, but they fell asleep before the movie was done too; and we didn’t learn that Sophia and Aaron watched a second movie while we slept until this morning.

Tai Chi was by the river and more fun thanks to the extra exercise buddies; we had a hot breakfast; and then got to work on chores at multiple homes.  Sophia and Aaron didn’t work with us – they had their own work to do instead, but then we didn’t have a lot to get done today for the yard work; and then we’ve been helping with some holiday pre-cooking since then.  That brings us to now.  While we’re writing this update, Ehlana is getting an overnight bag packed for her co-ed sleepover at Aiden’s house; and I’m doing a bit of work in the lounge to get it ready for the sleepover I’m hosting and that Naomi is at her house right now getting packed for too.

This report should include a world news report, but once again; we’re choosing to stay happy and not go there – even for our journals.  Look for a weekend news update from us tomorrow night; and we’ll get back to living the adventures with our family and friends!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!

P.S. We hope that Georgia is having a happy birthday, but other than sending a family gift for her; we haven’t been involved in her special day; and leave it up to her family and friends to make her day great.  While we haven’t gotten any details; we did hear some jokes about having Rebecca sending Luke to the party as a ‘gift’ for Georgia.  The adults are sure to have fun with those jokes for years to come, but for the record; Georgia and Luke are not going to follow Christina’s lead and be another hometown match – even if that would be another fun family story! ;^)
