Ethan and Ehlana:
Welcome to the Witch Falls family, Delilah Taylor!
Congratulations to Denise and Luke Taylor and their clans and friends too!
We weren’t involved in the action at the clinic today, but we were busy – starting from our early wake-up call to see Dad off on his way to the city. Tai Chi was by the river and a bit chilly; we went with a standard school day breakfast; and then we moved on to our academic adventures of the day. There wasn’t any news from those classes and work, but we had fun with our friends; and then moved on to our football or cheer squad practices. We are going to be playing against Clairmont on Friday, and we worked hard; since they are an undefeated team too – which is why we’ll be playing at their school instead of ours. This is going to be a tough battle against another team with championship history; so we’ll do our best to be ready and hope for the best on Friday night.
Ehlana and I hosted the dinner and study night with our best friends; Mom had dinner ready for us, so we cleaned up before getting the studying; and then we did a group Magi lesson with Mom followed by a music practice for everything we have coming up from school band and teen praise team to the school Christmas dance. We had fun with all of that; our friends didn’t head for their homes until ten-thirty; and then we only did a quick chat with Mom before moving on to bath or Jacuzzi time. Now we’re ready to wrap up with the bedtime twin chat and computer checks.
Cassie and Michael have started their last week working in and around Tahiti, but we don’t have much news from them today – mostly because we’ve been busy and only traded a few messages. They are having fun with the work; and we’re all looking forward to being reunited on Sunday. On the world news front, we can summarize by reporting that our leaders talk peace out of one side of their mouths; war out of the other; and nothing changes on the ground for any of the conflicts or with the ongoing economic and trade battles. We will mention a report we saw suggesting that the Ukrainian army might be shrinking by forty thousand troops every month between casualties and desertions compared to new recruits, and if that is at all accurate; it is only a matter of time before their army collapses. That is just a math fact, not speculation; and another sign that Ukraine and their western backers should make whatever bad deal they can with Russia before they’ll be forced to surrender. That is ugly, but reality; and our leaders need to stop living in their own fantasies.
It has been a long day after the early start and everything since then, so that’s all for this update.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
