Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 47th Birthday, Dad!
We are not going to comment on the start to Dad’s birthday celebrations; and pretend that our parents’ level of happiness when meeting us for Tai Chi by the river was all about looking forward to a happy day! We enjoyed the quiet of that workout; Ehlana and I helped Mom with Dad’s special breakfast and the clean-up; and then we were not involved in any of the celebration after that to now while we were at school and busy with our classes and practices. There was a birthday-related lunch at the Inn and Dad was apparently ‘late’ for work this morning; so we again are not interested in details! Our academic adventures and football, cheer squad, and band practices were fun; and now we’re just taking a quick break before Dad’s birthday dinner starts to pack overnight bags and do this early update before we’ll be on the go again for the rest of the night – and away from home for Dad’s kid-free night ‘gift’ with Naomi taking me while Ehlana will be with Aiden.
That’s all we have for our story-so-far, but we’ll also mention that Cassie and Michael made the move to the Cook Islands this morning and are now really just getting started on their work adventures there. We’ll save the world news for the next update; since we really need to get to the dinner party that has already started for most of the guests – at least for the social time that we couldn’t be here for while busy with our practices. Stay tuned for that; and we’ll do the best we can to have fun stories to report once we finish living them! ;^)
