Ethan and Ehlana:
Our respective sleepovers last night were great; and Ehlana and I both love the chances to spend quality time with our future in-laws. We don’t need to cover every detail; since it really is being together that matters – not the ‘what’ we do with our favorite people. We stayed up too late; didn’t get a lot of sleep; and didn’t get together for Tai Chi – choosing to do that in pairs and separately – mostly because we also didn’t do those workouts at exactly the same time. Our separate breakfasts with the Seagers or Drapers were good and fun; church and Sunday school – the last of the summer at the church if the weather cooperates for the holiday weekend service – kept us busy for most of the morning as Pastor John got on a roll with his sermon and his congregation enjoyed the extended message on a day that wasn’t too-hot for a longer summer service.
Ehlana and I went home to have lunch with Mom and Dad, but didn’t get together with Naomi and Aiden for the afternoon because they were busy elsewhere and we opted for a few hours at the alb or archives while waiting for Cassie and Michael to get home. They’re back now as we’re writing this early update; and we’re going to make this quick because we’re about to head over to their house ahead of the late buffet at the Inn. Naomi and Aiden will be joining us – and staying for the night and our plans to visit with Cassie and Michael after dinner.
