Ethan and Ehlana:
We don’t have much news for our day-so-far, and this update is early because we’re hosting our four best friends for the evening after our ball practices. After Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom, I had my football workout; Ehlana met up with Naomi and Sophia to work on their cheer squad tryouts planning; and then we spent the rest of the day until just a while ago at the lab or archives. We wanted to do that despite another great weather day because we won’t get to the lab for the rest of the week – or really very much for the rest of the summer; and we wanted to get some serious work done today. Mission accomplished for that; and now we’re getting ready for a quick dinner with Mom; prepping for our co-ed sleepover with our four best friends; and then we’ll need to get to the park for our baseball practices. The co-ed sleepover is mostly about our plans for a shopping trip to Crystal Springs tomorrow, but that isn’t a major town event because Mom and Aunt Leanne didn’t try to co-ordinate that kind of event this time. There will be dozens of shoppers, since aunts, cousins, and quite a few friends and their Moms are involved anyway, but it isn’t a ‘formal’ major shopping trip; and we know that other groups around town have plans for their own shopping adventures on other days between now and the holiday weekend.
We can write about those adventures over the next two days, since we’re going to stay in the city tomorrow night – though that will only be with Naomi and Aiden while Sophia and Aaron go home with his Mom and sister. Mom’s expecting us to help with our easy-dinner too; so let’s wrap this up. Cassie and Michael did most of their work in Georgia today, and only have two meetings set up for tomorrow to go along with more play time with May and Lee for their last day ahead of the trip home. We’re going to skip the world news update with the exception of mentioning that the peace talk over Ukraine continues without any changes on the ground to actually end the fighting, so until that changes; we won’t expect all of the diplomacy to mean anything more than a show meant to distract the masses while our leaders continue the fight for power and control of wealth.
That’s as close as we’ll get to a rant today, and we really do need to go now; so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
