Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 12th Birthday, Ricky Taylor!
Zack, Eli, and the rest of Ricky’s friends and his family are making sure that he has a happy day; and we’ve left that job to them while busy with our less-exciting adventures.
It was cooler this morning with a temperature that dipped into the high fifties; so Tai Chi by the river felt cool by comparison to most of the summer. That’s why we followed up with a hot breakfast before I headed to the park for an equally-chilly football workout – the last we’ll have before team tryouts start on Monday. Miles had us work harder, but not longer; since we all had work to do for the rest of the day. For me – and Ehlana – that meant yard chores; and that’s what we’ve been doing since then to now. We’ll need to work for most of tomorrow too and Mom has holiday weekend pre-cooking going on as we’re transitioning from outdoor work to that and an evening with our four best friends; so we don’t have much time for this report. Dad is already home from the city and working with Mom, but we aren’t doing anything with extra family and friends; so it will just be the eight of us for dinner and the rest of the night.
The rest of our story can wait for tomorrow too. Cassie and Michael are in Indianapolis now and enjoying the pre-wedding fun with their college friends – and Rowen and Tim; so they’re definitely having more fun than we’ll be having – even with the play time and co-ed sleepover with our best friends. We’re not going to get into world and political news today; so that’s pretty much all we have for this update. We need to get back to helping Mom and Dad, and our friends will catch up with us soon; so we’re out of here and back to living the adventures we’ll write about tomorrow.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
