Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 9th Anniversary, Andrew and Isabelle!
We wished Isabelle – Mrs. Jennings – a happy anniversary while at school, but the rest of their celebration has been handled by their family and friends while we’ve been busy with our third day of exams and studying.
That’s pretty much our story for today too. It was cooler out today, but that didn’t really affect us while spending most of our time indoors. Ehlana and I hosted the study sessions and a barbeque dinner for our friends; and we kept at that work until ten-thirty before our friends headed for their homes. Mom didn’t do a Magi lesson with us or have us do any family business or charity work. She sent us upstairs instead; we got ready for bed; and then met up for the computer checks and twin chat wrap-up.
Every time we get to the world and political news portion of our updates we either end up with shorter or longer rants or we skip them to avoid dwelling on the bad feelings that go along with the never-ending nonsense where the diplomatic talk is not reflected in what is happening on the ground or in real life. Even that statement has me leaning toward another commentary on all of the top stories around the world, but we are not going there; and will instead opt for calling it a night and going to get some sleep now. We’re down to two exam days to go and only one study night; so we’ll recharge and get through the rest of the week. For the record, no, the exams aren’t challenging for us, but it does take effort to write them and help our friends to be ready for the exams too; and we’ll be glad to get them done and then enjoy the wind-down week to our summer break.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
