Happy 25th Birthday, Rebecca Norton!
Happy 10th Birthday, Caleb Everett!
We’ve had a busy, fun day; so let’s get right to our adventure stories. First up, we didn’t have anything to do with Rebecca’s special day, but Cassie and Michael have juggled having fun with his sister and family – including helping with the birthday party work – with a cameo visit for Caleb’s party. Ethan and I were booked to help with Caleb’s party set-up, some kid control, and the dinner clean-up; so we’ve been busy since being set free from school today. We had fun too, but want to skip over the not-so-fun parts of Caleb’s party thanks to some of the boys that had too much of the wrong kind of fun; and we were happy to escape when we could after most of the work was done. We had the excuse of going home with Naomi and Aiden to decorate Christmas trees with their families; and Ethan and I had a lot of fun with that twin-free time. That sounds funny, since we’re never really apart even when we’re in different places, but I’m mentioning it because it sometimes seems as though we rarely are doing different things most of the time.
I collected Ethan on the way home; we had a visit and a Magi lesson with Mom and Dad, but Mom didn’t let us do any family business work tonight. Our first school day of the month began early and we were up to see our guests and grandparents off to the airport. Dawn didn’t leave this morning, but did hit the road before we were finished school; and is back to work by now too. Add in Tai Chi, breakfast, and a busy round of academic adventures; and now we are pretty much ready to crash and nap and re-charge.
I don’t want to rant on world news tonight, but conflicts seem to continue to escalate; politics is still an ugly game of power that only serves the greedy narcissists that don’t care at all for anyone but themselves. Instead of going there; let’s just wrap this up with our Christmas music video picks of the day. Ethan and I have picked one each tonight; so we hope that you enjoy these songs while we move on to nap time now.
