Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - September 20, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Aiden and I won the junior game title last night and thanked Ethan and Naomi for being busy so that we had easier competition!  Mom and Miranda won the senior title; so it was a good night for our family.

That wasn’t actually our top story of the day, but we don’t need to let that get in the way of the fun.  Aiden and I ended up doing a co-ed sleepover with Ethan and Naomi; so we also got the full party report for Eli’s special day – not including the sleepover part of his night.  Naomi was past-ready to meet up with us by the time we got home from the Inn; and that is entirely because Zack was in top form and led the way to having most of the guys annoy Naomi – and pretty much every other girl or adult in the house.  Pizzeria pizza and bakery cakes were at the center of the food games that got messy; and we won’t mention the name of the boy that did not successfully keep up with one of those food contests and made a mess that you can likely guess at without details.  Two of us were very happy that we weren’t there for that – or most of the rest of the party either.  We all enjoyed the Magi lesson with Mom, a movie, and some quality cuddling and chat time before we eventually got around to the co-ed nap time.

As for our Friday-so-far, Tai Chi by the river and breakfast were more fun with our best friends; we’ve had a good school day with bonus outdoor time; and now we’re getting ready to head out for Hillcrest and the away game that our team is heading for soon too.  Hillcrest is about an hour and a half to the east of town; so we’ll be on the road for a total of three hours for the round-trip.  That’ll make for a late night for us, but Sophia has offered to host the co-ed sleepover for our usual group of six; so we also won’t be home again for the rest of the day.  Mom and Dad won’t have a problem with the kid-free night they’ll be getting after he gets home from Crystal Springs, but we don’t need to add any details for that in our journals – and won’t ask for those details either! ;^)

We really do need to wrap this up, since we’re also meeting up at Sophia’s house to drop off overnight bags before we head for Hillcrest; so that’s all for this update.  Stay tuned for the rest of our story from today; and we’ll get started on living those adventures!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
