Ehlana and Ethan:
It is beginning to feel as though our school week schedule is coming together, and while there is obviously more work with academic adventures added into the mix compared to summer holidays; we’re having fun too.
There hasn’t really been any newsworthy stories to offer for this update, but Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom and Dad made for a happy start to our day; we had a good day at school; and then we work-played at the lab or archives for a couple of hours. Dinner with Mom and Dad followed once we got home; our four best friends came over to study and do a group Magi lesson with Mom; and then we did some charity and family business work in the office after our friends headed for their homes by nine o’clock. We should also at least mention that we managed to enjoy a bit of the sunny day with some outdoor time at school; and we’re only feeling a bit bad for missing out on play time with our friends after school while some of them went biking and swimming while the high for the day hit the nineties.
Ethan and I have been doing our usual bedtime twin chat and computing since coming upstairs at around ten-thirty. As usual, there are lots of world news stories, but we’re honestly just feeling the need to ignore most of the news that continues to be theatre meant to distract from ‘real’ issues. It was inevitable that the Presidential debate would continue to get a lot of attention, but since we don’t actually think that it matters which candidate wins in November; let’s simply suggest that all of the ‘regular’ people in our country lost the debate because none of our leaders actually care about us. We’d be happy to vote for Cassie, but she isn’t old-enough to run for President; and wouldn’t want the job if she could run for the job!
That is a fun thought to head off to dreamland on, so let’s wrap this up; and Ethan and I will move on to nap time right now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
