Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 20, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Our Friday night was pretty good starting with dinner and through to our co-ed sofa sleepover, but we didn’t end up getting very involved in the guest arrivals because Cassie and Michael didn’t get back from their airport run until late and by then; their guests pretty much just wanted to get their luggage into rooms or cottages; have a visit with their friends and hosts; and get some sleep.  We’ve had a busy morning after Tai Chi by the river that has included catching parts of two ball games that Faith, Zack, and the rest of their teams each won; and now we’re taking a quick break before moving on to a family-and-friends’ lunch.  There have been some chores and a round of visits in addition to the baseball, but we’re booked for the rest of the day; so this is the best time we have for our mini-update.

The rest of our news can wait, but in addition to group meals and other family fun; we’re also booked for kid-control during the co-ed ball game tonight; and then we’ll be at Cassie and Michael’s house for babysitting while most of our favorite adults will be at Sheldon’s Pub for Rowen and Tim’s party.  Naomi and Aiden will be with us and we’ll be taking care of a gang of toddlers and babies while other teens will be elsewhere with other younger cousins and their friends – including at the Carrington’s home and with Sophia and Aaron at her place.  That probably sounds strange to some people that aren’t used to our little town, but between the Emersons and Landrys; there are a lot of family and friend connections and a lot of younger kids to babysit tonight!

Those stories really can wait for our next report, and that is all we have for this one; so we’re out of here and back to all of the wedding-related and baseball adventures.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
