Ehlana and Ethan:
We had a lot of fun last night with our family and friends. The barbeque dinner was a highlight of our night; the evening entertainment included welcoming the rest of our weekend guests; and then our house was teen-tween central for some movies, co-ed cuddle time, and some video gaming before eventually getting around to co-ed naps. We were able to do that because Valerie and Marcus were elsewhere for the night with groups of our younger cousins and friends; and they each seemed happy to be doing that instead of hanging out with us and our parents.
The weather has been sunny so far today with a high in the mid-eighties. That worked for Tai Chi by the river, the morning chores that we needed to get done; and the afternoon trail ride at the Ridge River Ranch that only some of our friends could do with us – and with the gang of parents, cousins, and friends that went along either for the ride or the corral adventure geared for the next-gen kids. That brings us up to now as we’re transitioning from that ride to the rest of our plans for the day. Next up is some play time as Mom and Dad get ready to host the barbeque dinner for family and friends. We’ll be helping with some of the work too and the evening entertainment will include a campfire, but the rest of those stories can wait for our next report. We haven’t decided for sure what we’ll be doing for our sleepovers tonight; and that’s why we’re going with another early update in case we have another gang here with us or end up somewhere else instead. It is time for us to move on, though, so that’s it and we’re out of here!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
