Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - May 24, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 24th Birthday, Stefan Reardon!

This early update is coming at you between our school day and getting started on our holiday weekend fun.  We’ve had a pretty good day so far, but don’t have any news of interest from our academic adventures.  The weather is great and it has warmed into the low-eighties; so we’re going to be spending a lot of time outdoors for the rest of the day.  The Carringtons and Everetts are hosting the family-and-friends’ dinner and play evening that we need to get to soon so that we can help out with the work and kid control.

The rest of our Thursday was pretty good.  The top news was that our Proctor aunt, uncle, and cousins and the Malloys arrived for the early start to their holiday weekend.  While that was entirely so that Uncle Blaine and Uncle Terry could work and have meetings with the local contractors today; Jayden and Kaitlyn were happy to have a bonus day off from school.  Kaitlyn was obviously happy to have extra time with Jeremy too; and Jayden didn’t have a problem with hanging out with Susan Connor again – including while they stayed with us for the night.  Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron were all with us for the tween-teen sleepover; and we’re planning on another gang at our house for tonight too.  The rest of our Thursday afternoon and evening included some biking before dinner; game night at the Inn that was more-fun with our guests – especially when Uncle Terry and Aunt Angela won the senior title; and then our sleepover included lots of cuddle time and a movie – though not a co-ed sleepover because Valerie and Marcus were with us for the night too and they thought that it was weird-enough just to have us cuddling in pairs during the movie!

Okay, that’s enough for this report because we really do need to get going now; so we’re out of here and moving on to what we hope will be the start of a few amazing days of holiday adventures!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
