Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 3rd Birthday, Belinda Benton!
Cassie and Michael helped out with Belinda’s special day and made a cameo visit to her party while delivering a gift to their friends’ daughter; and that’s the main reason we’re mentioning it tonight; since we didn’t have any involvement in her birthday adventures.
The top news for our day is that it warmed up to near-sixty this afternoon; and that’s why we went out biking with our friends after school. We included a stop to see Cassie and Michael after meeting up with Naomi and Aiden at their homes; rode the trail around town and then biked and played at the park until we needed to be at our homes for dinner; and enjoyed to outdoor warm that won’t still be around by the weekend! Ehlana and I helped with making dinner and the clean-up; kept Mom and Dad entertained while we ate with primary-grade music stories and the rest of our daily update; and then we eventually headed to the Inn for game night. Cassie and Michael were there too and we had a lot of fun; they won the senior title; and then they got teased about that for supposedly using up too-much energy ahead of their weekend away with their niece and nephews! Nobody really believes that they’d ever be too-tired to take care of three toddlers for a few days, but that did remind us to spend extra time saying goodbye to them tonight because they’ll be getting on the road for Garden City while we’re at school. They’re going to visit Michael’s aunt, uncle, and cousins since they don’t come home anymore; and the kids are going along because they don’t likely even remember those cousins since they’ve only seen them once or twice. We’ll have more on that trip sometime after Cassie and Michael get back; and we’ll hope that they have an awesome adventure!
As for the rest of our evening, we came home from the Inn; Mom currently has Cassie and Michael’s car to use this weekend while they’re borrowing her minivan for the extra room for the kids; and we were sent upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time and ordered to take the night off from work. Ehlana enjoyed the tub time; I had some music fun while waiting for her to get started on our bedtime twin chat and computing; and now we’re pretty much ready to wrap this up and get some sleep. The seventh Christmas music video pick of the season is from our favorite father-daughter duo – daughters, for this song; and this is also the mash-up version we based our arrangement on for this song on our Christmas album. Hopefully you’ll love it too; so enjoy it while we move on to nap time now!
