Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - December 14, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

This has definitely been a Christmassy day!  That isn’t because of the weather, since the high reached the low-fifties, but our school day included a lot of Christmas-themed fun and music; we had a last band practice ahead of the dance this afternoon – along with a short bike ride to enjoy the weather; and then we had to get ready for a ‘work’ Christmas dinner at the Inn.  Naomi and Aiden were official dates for that dinner party for Dad’s office and the lab and med center; we had a blast with the rest of the kids and teens at the Inn with us; and then we stayed for game night and kept the fun going.  Naomi and I came in second for the juniors this week; and that’s as close as we got for our family for any titles.

Since we were on dates, Ehlana and I walked our dates to their homes after the gaming; we collected Silkie along the way to take her with us; and then we only did a bit of work and a Magi lesson with Mom after getting home again.  Bath or Jacuzzi time was needed after that; and now we’re running out of power fast while sharing the computer checks and twin chat time.  The holiday fun is going to kick up a notch or three tomorrow, and we want to be rested up and ready for everything; so that’s all for this report.  Our Christmas video pick is a comparatively-older favorite that we also included on our album this year.  We put together our own version with our own harmonies, but this is a live performance by the original artist; and we hope that you’ll love it as much as we do!
