Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 2nd Birthday, Jonathan Bassett!
We had a gift to deliver to Jonathan this morning at church from Cassie and Michael for their Bassett cousin, and we had a cameo moment of fun with him – and his family – while at church too, but that was the extent of our help with making his day special.
Mother Nature obviously wanted to celebrate with him, since she gave us a sunny day with a high that touched sixty; and that had a lot to do with why all of our outdoor time was so great! It was still around freezing this morning, so Tai Chi was indoors and for four of us; we had a hot breakfast; and then church and Sunday school were really good too. We needed to go out and enjoy the warm this afternoon, and in addition to playing all afternoon with Naomi and Aiden; we even managed to get four parents to go along for an hour of our biking time on the trails around town and at the park. While Mom and Dad ended up having some company at home for the last half of the afternoon; we also had bonus play time with some of our cousins and some other friends as nearly everyone around town wanted to get out and enjoy the warmth and sunshine.
Our evening included dinner-for-twelve at home that was a pot-luck meal with the Carringtons and Everetts while our best friends had other plans with their families at the Inn. Mom did a Magi lesson with us that happened early; we took care of bath or Jacuzzi time early too; and now we’re going to crash and nap early too because we want the extra down time tonight ahead of what we expect will be a busy week and a half or so along the way to Valentine’s Day. That’s all we have for this report too; so we’ll call it a night and go do that now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
