Happy Valentine’s Day to all of our favorite people!
This update is early because we’re going to be babysitting tonight starting very soon; and then we’ll be doing a sleepover at Naomi’s house because Mom is in the city with Dad for the night.
We should begin by assuring Cassie and Michael that we will not be having a more-exciting holiday than them this year, and since babysitting might be in our future a lot for the next few years; that might be a new trend for us! ;^)
Our day has still been pretty good so far. There were gifts to share with Mom this morning before we headed to school; more gifts for Ehlana and Naomi along the way to school; a special lunch-for-four; flower deliveries; and more that kept all of us entertained while at school. Not all of the teen and tween drama was good today, but since we’re very happy; let’s not go there for this update.
The babysitting is at our house because the parents are letting us do that while they’re either in the city or will be at the Inn for a special dinner. We are not going to have a late night, so even with the clean-up time; we expect to head for Naomi’s house by nine-thirty or so. Parental help will be taking care of a major pizza delivery, but we’ll be taking care of some side dishes and desserts; so we need to get going soon to be ready as our ‘kids’ start arriving soon.
The rest of the details can wait for tomorrow night, and we really do need to get going before Naomi and Aiden get here too; so we’re out of here!
