Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve had a long, busy work and baseball day, and while we’ve had some fun too; getting ready for holiday weekends is always tougher than the usual weekly work. Add in some rain and thunderstorms; and you can understand why we’re ready to wind down with a movie and co-ed sleepover with our best friends.
On the baseball side of life, we had three ‘family’ games this morning – all of them wins. We didn’t attend Caleb and Sebastian’s game, but they – and the Marshals – won over the Rawhide Rangers by a score of seven-to-four. We’d really like to watch each-other’s games, but that isn’t an option so far this season; so we had to settle for being happy with the wins. Ehlana, Naomi, and the Belles earned a big, ten-to-three victory over the Lab Lasses; and Aiden and I led our team to a ten-to-six win over the Witch Falls Wildcats. There were some showers during our games, but not enough to even have a delay; and we didn’t mind getting cooled down a tiny bit.
Doing chores for the rest of the day was the only news for us; none of that work is newsworthy; and we were only slowed down once when we took cover during a thunderstorm. We got wet and very dirty; needed showers before dinner; and that was a late meal because we didn’t get the work finished until six-thirty. Now we’re getting ready for the movie and sleepover with Naomi and Aiden. They’ll be here soon after being busy with chores at their own homes; and the sleepover is instead of camping due to the wet weather and our interest in testing out our new entertainment set-up in the lounge. We’ll let you know how that goes for us with the next report, but that’s all for tonight; and we really need to finish getting ready for what should be our fun highlight of the day – so we’re out of here! ;^)
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
