Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve ended up with another really nice day, but band practice was on the schedule for after school, so we didn’t get out there very much to enjoy the sun and warm. Mom and Dad did go with a grilled dinner that we enjoyed in the sunroom with open windows, but after the clean-up Ehlana and I went to the lab or archives for the evening to work-play there. We had fun; only stayed until around ten o’clock; and then came home to a Magi lesson and some family business work in the office before we were sent upstairs at a big after midnight. That makes for another later night in a row, but we did get a lot done; and feel pretty good about our accomplishments.
It would be great if we could say the same for our world leaders, but we can’t do that; and we don’t have any good news to report when it comes to the wars, economic crises, or the political nonsense that passes for diplomacy or even normal government operations. There is plenty of theatre going on to entertain and distract while the real problems never get solved. Instead of getting into any of that again tonight; we’re just going to wrap this up and go get some sleep.
Maybe we’ll be surprised and see all of that change for the better tomorrow!
