Ethan and Ehlana:
This has been another good, busy day with a mid-eighties high this afternoon that really is awesome for this time of year in our area. There was some rain overnight, but it ended before we got up for the day and didn’t get in the way of Tai Chi by the river. Our academic adventures were fun; we each had good practices with our football team or cheer squad; and then Naomi hosted the dinner and study evening with our four best friends. We – the teens – took care of the dinner clean-up after sharing that meal with Naomi’s parents and brother; the studying took an hour or so; and then we had another music practice for our band and music classes before Ehlana and I headed home for the night. Mom did a Magi lesson with us after we got home; and then we did some family business and charity work while in a time phase most of the time to get more done. That worked for Dad too; and then we were all ready to wrap up our day by the time we headed up to our rooms.
Ehlana and I have kept our computer checks on the short side; and we’re pretty much ready to nap now. Before we go there, we can report that Cassie and Michael have had a busy day too, and not only are they a day ahead of us; they are also staying ahead with the weather as they’ve enjoyed a sunny tropical day that included a high around ninety instead of our mid-eighties. They managed a bit of sightseeing and beach time too; and that helped to make their day awesome even with all of the work. Their Thursday isn’t over, but we won’t get the rest of their story until sometime tomorrow; so that’s all we have for them tonight.
As for world news, we can report that there is a tentative ceasefire between Afghanistan and Pakistan – though we still don’t have many details on the actual fighting along the border and beyond. The proclaimed final peace in Israel seems a bit tentative too; since there are already cracks in the deal and what might be violations on both sides of the ceasefire. We are happy for the good things that have happened – like the hostage and prisoner releases, but we are still waiting to see real progress on the ground and relief for the Palestinians. The situation in Ukraine is horrible for the Ukrainian army as they are dealing with thousands or even tens of thousands of their troops caught in various frontline cauldrons that the Russian army have set up around some key cities and towns. The daily airstrikes across Ukraine are horrible too; and that is not going to change for the better if western countries start lobbing long-range missiles into Russia. The talk for doing that continues and might come to a head this weekend, but we’ll still hope for better; and be ready to help if our leaders continue to make the wrong choices.
That might be true for our actions toward both Venezuela and China; since our leaders seem very determined to threaten the entire world to get everyone else to do what we tell them to do. Compared to all of that, a military coup in Madagascar seems minor, but then that is another indication that there is widespread unrest in a lot of countries right now – whether instigated by western countries or not.
We’re going to stop with that, and really need to get some sleep now; so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
