Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 14th Birthday, Jennifer Byrd!
This is a very early update because we’re home from our respective girls’ or guys’ sleepovers and don’t have much time to get ready for Jennifer’s birthday party that includes spending the day at Quarry Lake. We’ll be at a camping night too; so we won’t be home for the rest of the day once we head over to her house. Mom isn’t home from the city yet; so we might not see her again until tomorrow, but we have no doubt that she’s having fun; and we don’t need to know any details about the favorite parts of her night with Dad! ;^)
The other guys will insist that we had the most fun last night with all of the video gaming that rolled on until the wee hours of this morning, and that might be true for some of them, but while I love my cousins; I am definitely ready for a break from them today! Ehlana has assured me that she had fun with the girls; they enjoyed mini-makeovers, movies, and late-night Pizzeria Pizza snacks before going to bed hours before the guys did; and I really would have rather been with Naomi – except for the mini-makeover part of their adventure. Ehlana and I had our respective ball practices last night too, but we don’t have any news from that beyond that our teams are proving to be the best in our divisions this year; and we might need to take a look at that next season to improve the competition – though that will be changed for us anyway as we move up to the next level anyway.
We really need to get going soon, since we also need to grab tents and sleeping bags before we head over to Jennifer’s house. Stay tuned for the big birthday adventure news with our next update; and we’ll get out there and have all of that fun with our friends – and cousin. Yes, Jayden has been invited; and there is a very good chance that all of the girls will appreciate the view with Jayden even while he is off the market this summer! Yes, that includes Naomi, but she loves me; so I’m not worried. It really is time to go, though, so we’re out of here.
