Happy 21st Birthday, Lindsay Faulkner!
Early updates seem to be the norm right now, but afternoon reports and computer checks are working better while our cousins are visiting; so the trend will continue at least for the rest of this week. We didn’t have anything to do with our cousins’ anniversary or Lindsay’s birthday celebrations; and we expect that their local family and friends are taking care of making their day great!
Ehlana and I had a lot of fun with our camping last night. Dinner was a bit scary thanks to Zack, Eli, and some of the other guys as they got into some food and drink competitions, but that didn’t keep us from enjoying the meal and the chat time with some of our favorite parents. There was some swimming and playing after the dinner clean-up; we watched two movies while some of us got to share some quality co-ed cuddle time; and then we stayed up late with a midnight swim; teen chat time around the tents; and more cuddle time before we got around to our short naps that were only co-ed for five of the teen couples.
Tai Chi by the river and a major breakfast adventure were followed by packing up our tents and hauling our gear to our homes; and then some of us met up again to enjoy the great weather for the rest of the day to now. We biked the park trails; swam in the river a lot; had a picnic lunch that we had at the park; and now Ehlana and I are getting ready for another adventure night that will be segregated with the girls’ night being hosted by the Everetts while the boys’ night will be at the Ayres’ home and unofficially hosted by Sebastian and his father. We need to go soon because we’re each booked to help out with the pre-dinner work at each house; so we need to wrap this up now.
Cassie and Michael are having fun and they will be busy every day with the wedding prep work and parties. Mom has already left for Crystal Springs and a night with Dad while we’re away and busy with our cousins and friends; and we won’t be getting into any world news reports today because we’d rather take a break from the latest round of worse news as our President has apparently decided to fully-resume the previous policies of dumping weapons on Ukraine and making more threats against Russia. All that will do will be to extend the war and cause more death and destruction, and while Ehlana is suggesting that I’ll be in a war zone too once the guys get into a major video gaming marathon tonight; we do know that there is a difference between gaming and real life – even if there are likely a lot of military drone operators that deny the realities that go along with the consequences of their jobs.
So much for not going there. That is all I’m going to offer for this report, though, so you’ll need to flip the digital page in our future to get the rest of our story from today for our ball practices and respective sleepovers whenever you are reading this in our near or distant future.
